JPB, Inc is a small music production company based in Pittsburgh, PA. For all who are not aware, young people are dying at alarming rates - in this city, in this country and in this world. JPB is not trying to say that we can save the world, however we are trying to bridge the gap in our hoods and hopefully yours too.
JPB features young emcees between the ages of 12-20. These young people come from all hoods of the city of Pittsburgh. JPB provides these youth free studio time, beats and CD's that they sell to help us achive our goals. We will be releasing our first city-wide hood-binding CD in May'04. Please support us.
Goals
The main goal for JPB is to open a youth center, a safe place, where youth can come hang-out, learn how to and make music, learn how to market themselves and learn valuable lifeskills, i.e. job readiness, resume writing, interviewing skills, hygenie, etc.
We are going to need alot of help, locally and abroad. Please support us, it's truly a matter of life and death. The City of Pittsburgh has closed all of the recreational centers and shut down nearly all of the recreational activties for the youth. They are let outsides to be targets: targets for cops, negatively and themselves. With no direction, hope or safe haven, they will surely continue to die. Please help.
